I am a Tennessee Attorney and member of the law firm of Burrow Lee, PLLC. I practice in civil litigation defense in all areas of general liability law including insurance defense. I have received the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and ethics. I was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers Rising Stars Edition 2012 - 2016.
I was born in Woodbury, New Jersey and grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. I attended Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio and received a bachelor degree in psychology. I then moved to Tennessee in 2000 and attended the University Of Memphis Law School. I graduated from law school in 2003 and started practicing law at that time. I am married and have four wonderful boys.
My practice consists of the defense of companies, employers, insurance companies and individuals in numerous areas. Most of my cases involve: premises liability; general liability; business dispute litigation; contract litigation; wills; estate planning and probate litigation. I have experience defending specific types of cases on specific disputes including: food borne illness; wrongful death; construction defects; insurance defense; dram shop law; non-compete agreement litigation; business disputes; breach of contract disputes; employment discrimination defense; medical malpractice; trademark and trade dress law. I have handled numerous trials (jury and non-jury) and mediations in Tennessee. I have practiced in state courts all across the State of Tennessee from Memphis to Bristol as well as in federal courts inside and outside of Tennessee. I am also a frequent seminar speaker on various topics. I have provided seminars on assisted living facility litigation, probate/estate planning, premises liability and workers' compensation.
